I am a market researcher and business analyst working in the maritime industry, based in Dubai.
I work at the front end of the commercial cycle at Drydocks World, where my focus
is on market research and competitive analysis across our business segments: ship repair, rig repair,
conversions, newbuilds, offshore services, and EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) projects
in oil, gas and renewables. The findings feed directly into market expansion, commercial decisions,
and new bids and contracts.
The thread across my career has stayed the same: using research to drive commercial outcomes.
I have applied that discipline in container shipping in Barcelona, in automotive and smart mobility in Madrid,
and in biotech in the United States, before bringing it home to maritime.
My background is genuinely international. I have lived and worked across the United Arab Emirates,
Spain and the United States, studied in Spain, the United Kingdom and the US, and I am comfortable
working with clients, colleagues and markets across cultures. I speak six languages, working
professionally in English and Spanish. That global perspective is a practical asset in an industry
where the customers, competitors and opportunities are spread across the world.
I hold an MSc in Marketing Management and a BBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, with study
experience at UCLA Anderson and the University of Manchester. I am always glad to hear from people
working in maritime, offshore and adjacent industries.
